Ordering

The first step to ordering a unique cake for your celebration is to schedule a consultation. Appointments are available Monday through Saturday. Saturday appointments fill quickly so it is best to schedule your appointments three weeks in advance.

Dawn Peters, Pastry Chef and owner of Decadence, was trained at the California Culinary Academy of San Francisco. She has over 15 years professional experience and has built a reputation of excellence working at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, CA, Alisal Guest Ranch in Solvang, CA, The Boulders Resort in Carefree, AZ and The Phoenician in Scottsdale, AZ.

Consultations are held at the Decadence kitchens, located at 201 Industrial Way, Suite C, Buellton, CA.

                       Directions to the Decadence kitchen from Santa Barbara                       

  • Take the US 101 North exit 140A (Lompoc/Solvang, Route 246)
  • Turn left at the exit, then travel ½ mile through two lights.
  • Turn left onto Industrial Way.
  • Decadence is located in the second building on the right
    (green awnings).  Turn right into the driveway and go to the third door on the right hand side of the building.

    Wedding cake prices are determined by flavor, size, design and delivery location.

    Prices starting at:

  • Cake, 1-149 guests: $6 per person
  • Cake, 150 and above guests: $5.00 per person
  • Dairy, Gluten, Sugar Free and Vegan cakes: $7.50 per person
  • Cupcakes: $4 per person  (Display tower rental required)
  • Petits Fours: $2.50 per piece

    Minimum pricing for tiered cakes:

  • Two tiers:  $200
  • Three tiers:  $400
  • Four tiers:  $600

    The price of the cake is affected by many factors but the most important are the ingredients and the decoration. At Decadence we use only high quality, natural and organic ingredients.  All of our desserts are made from scratch.

                                                  Wedding Cake Alternatives                                              

  • Cupcake Towers - Each guest is served individual cupcakes
  • Table Cakes - Each table has a cake (with similar decoration to the bridal cake) which is cut by the guests
  • Petit Fours - A pedestal display of petits fours for each table
  • A Viennese Table - A dessert buffet with a selection of small cakes, tarts, petits fours and other delicacies
  • Individual desserts
  • Cookies or assorted cookie bags

                                                  Wedding Cake Stands                                              

    Wedding cake stands and tiered platters can add another level of beauty and height to your wedding cake or desserts. Cake stands are available in several shapes and designs. Decadence can arrange the rental of the perfect display stands.

                                                  Reservations                                              

    Dates for the wedding season fill up quickly so early reservations are recommended for weddings.

    A deposit of 50% is paid to reserve the event date and the remaining amount is due two weeks prior to the event. Decadence will provide a contract outlining the details of the event and cake.
